ON 19th June 2025: Global Hotel Alliance (GHA), the world’s largest alliance of independent hotel brands, with the award-winning loyalty programme GHA DISCOVERY, has announced the winners of its 2025 awards.
Simon Naudi, Managing Director & CEO Corinthia Group was awarded the Exceptional Contribution CEO Award.
Simon Naudi
Simon joined the Corinthia Group in a senior executive role in 1997. He served for 12 years as CEO of CHL besides handling corporate roles in IHI. Over the years, he has also been responsible for hotel and real estate acquisitions and development as well as the expansion of CHL’s hotel operations in major cities, including landmark hotel projects in cities such as London, New York, Rome, Brussels. In January 2024, Simon was appointed Group CEO and Managing Director of IHI. In his new role, he focuses on corporate, investment, ownership, financial and development matters while continuing to oversee all IHI’s companies.

Hosted at the historic Solvay Library Brussels, the GHA annual awards ceremony acknowledged more than 15 hotel brands and properties from the GHA portfolio, while hotels demonstrating performance excellence related to the GHA DISCOVERY loyalty programme also received accolades.

Every awards category was hotly contested, with at least five nominations in each from GHA’s more than 850 hotels in over 100 countries, representing 45 brands, selected according to multiple criteria.
GHA CEO Chris Hartley commented: “Congratulations to all of our winners for their outstanding accomplishments. Their innovation, dedication, and impact have played a vital role in the continued success of GHA DISCOVERY, bringing value to all our member brands. These awards also shine a light on the strength and unity of our global network with our alliance continuing to grow stronger with each year.”

The GHA Awards Ceremony took place in conjunction with the alliance’s annual CEO meeting which this year was held at the elegant Corinthia Grand Hotel Astoria, Brussels. The event was attended by over 50 brand leaders and executive guests from around the world, including of course Simon Naudi.
