Long service awards are essential in employee recognition programmes, celebrating staff members for their substantial contributions over time. They reinforce organisational loyalty and foster a positive workplace culture by acknowledging dedication. Apart from recognition, these awards signify a company’s commitment to employee retention, emphasising the value of loyalty in an era of frequent job changes.

The beautifully decorated Victorian Ballroom at Corinthia London has hosted numerous significant events throughout its impressive 140-year history. On April 11, it served as the backdrop for a heartfelt occasion where Corinthia recognized several employees for their lengthy and dedicated service.

In total, 48 individuals were honoured for their commitment, with 36 recognized for five years of service, nine for ten years, two for fifteen years, and one for twenty years.

Brenda Buhagiar, the Director of Finance, was acknowledged for her 20 years with the Corinthia Group, having begun her career in Malta in 2005 before relocating to London in 2011.

Thomas Kochs, the Managing Director, welcomed the award recipients and expressed gratitude for their unwavering loyalty. He was followed by Simon Naudi, Corinthia’s CEO and Managing Director of IHI, who emphasised the significance of individual care and attention that defines a Corinthia employee.
